Maersk and Dafei have made major changes to the route, involving several Chinese ports.

upgraded FEW2 route will focus on the Nigerian market with the following ports of call: Singapore-Thanjong Parapas-Lomé-Apapa-Ona-Cotonou-Singapore.
upgraded FEW3 routes will connect major ports in West Africa with major ports in Asia. Route FEW1 will be suspended and services will be diverted to route FEW3.
FEW3 route is: Qingdao Guangyang Shanghai Ningbo Shekou Nansha Singapore Tanjung Palapas Tema Laiki Abidjan Black Point Colombo Singapore Xiamen Qingdao.
upgraded FEW6 route will focus on key ports in southwest Africa and add new connections to the port of Kribi. A major change in the route was the removal of the connection to Cape Town, reducing the transit time between the South West African port and the Asian port to seven days.
FEW6 route is: Qingdao Shanghai Ningbo Nansha Danjiang Parapas Singapore Black Point Kribi Luanda Whale Bay Port Singapore Qingdao.
New Cape Express can meet the demand for freight between Port Louis and Cape Town in the following order: Port Louis-Cape Town-Port Louis.
upgraded SAFARI route will increase northbound coverage of Port Louis, combining with the Cape Town Express and Safari routes to provide direct transportation services for Cape Town export products (including refrigerated containers) to Asian markets.
new SAFARI route connecting ports is: Shanghai Ningbo Shekou Tanjung Parapas Port Louis Durban Port Louis Tanjung Parapas.
In addition to Maersk, Dafei also announced the upgrade of its routes in Asia, West Africa and South Africa, which will take effect in the first week of December this year, to improve scheduled flight rates and operational efficiency.
